Along with Lee Jung, Kang Min-kyung, Kim Soo-mi, Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim Woo-bin, and Hong Jong-hyun, Shin Dong-yup co-starred as Dong-yup (the chief of a skill agency who is in control of Vampire Voice and the whole thing he says is a lie) within the 2011 comedy-drama television show Vampire Idol.
