Was Patrick Dempsey fired from Greys because he had an affair with a staffer?

Plus, it really didn’t appear to be there was any love misplaced between Shonda and Patrick. But right here’s a new wrinkle – In Touch Weekly claims that Shonda wrote him off after solid members realized that Dempsey had an “beside the point relationship” with a young staffer on the set of GA.

I believe some of this story. Not all. As I said, I’m already within the mood to believe that Dempsey is a shady d-bag. I don't have any downside believing he was screwing round on his spouse with many different girls over time, and that a few of those girls may have even worked on Grey’s Anatomy. I will be able to even be willing to believe that Dempsey and Pompeo had a less-than-friendly courting off-camera. But I don’t really consider Ellen Pompeo would get all up in Patrick’s business, although he was carrying on with a staffer. Plus, when did this affair happen? Patrick and his spouse announced their split in January of this year, after what I assumed was a beautiful open marriage.
Now, if you want to tell me that Patrick had an affair with any individual at the set and possibly the girl was threatening a lawsuit or one thing? And possibly that’s why Shonda discovered and removed him? Sure, I’d consider that.
